Born in France, Florent has lived and worked in Milan since 2022.
He studied product and furniture design between the Orléans Higher School of Art and Design in France and the Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
From 2015 to 2018, he collaborated with Christophe Moreau on scenographic projects for Maison & Objet Paris.
Awarded the “René-Thinat” Prize for Young Designer by the city of Orléans, Florent later joined Ultraconfidentiel Design in New Delhi, where he developed the Custom Furniture Design Department over three years, working with brands such as Chanel, Rolex, Nestlé, and Air France, etc.
Between 2022 and 2026, he collaborated with Federico Peri in Milan on product and furniture design projects for brands including Nespresso, Baxter, Bentley Home, and Purho Murano, etc.
In 2024, Florent became a partner at Studio VB | Architecture & Design Studio, developing projects across India, Bali, and France, while continuing his work as an independent designer.
Florent approaches design through a transdisciplinary perspective, balancing function, emotion, materiality, and cultural context. His experience across Europe and Asia enables him to respond to highly specific projects with technical precision and a sensitive understanding of the user experience.
His intention is to create furniture and objects rooted in a multidisciplinary, innovative, and contemporary design approach.
