"A characteristic architectural identity of Kolkata"
Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd is the largest petrochemical company in India, based in Kolkata, east of Indian territory. The main concept of this project is based on the local architectural identity, that is predominated by the terracotta material and an emblematic element characterizing Kolkata, the atrium. From a height of 12 meters, it gives way to a glass roof that includes in his heart, a work by the artist Kendall Buster. The bar as well as the various rest areas were designed in order to echo with the surrounding space. The different masterpieces designed in this project are the bar and its rest areas as well as the two receptions composed mainly of metal and terracotta. A black smoked glass meeting table supported by granite blocks of different heights. Not to mention the office of the president incorporating the characteristics of the meeting table (black smoked glass and granite) and a wood of American hazel, also present on the bar and the planters of the atrium.
